Shepherds Bush was the perfect venue, had a very personal and intimate atmosphere, because of the smaller crowd. Great sound and lighting, best of all Mick's voice, just doesn't not fade. And, magically, we were right at the front of the stage. It was truly amazing! Simply Red always deliver a superb show and never disapppoint. Was over far too quickly, but looking forward to the next gig.

The actually performance was brilliant. The queuing outside was very long and quite unnecessary. Why didn’t we have seat numbers to avoid it If people bought standing tickets that was their choice

Intimate gig, great sound, wonderful atmosphere and plenty of room to dance. Beer prices a bit toppish, but affordable.

We have seen Simply Red many many times over the years, but this was one hell of a show. The tightness of the band, the voice of Mick and the energy from artists to the audience wrapped up in a small venue make this up with one of the all time top performances from us.

Formed in 1984, Simply Red are a British soul band that draws influence from reggae and jazz to make sublime pop music. Led by the iconic Mick Hucknall, Simply Red have enjoyed international adoration having penned such iconic songs as "Fairground", “Angel”, "Sunrise", "Holding Back the Years" and "If You Don't Know Me by Now".
The Grammy-nominated group have sold over 50 million albums, including multi-platinum titles Picture Book (1985), Men and Women (1987), A New Flame (1989), Stars (1991), Life (1995) and Blue (1998). They have released thirteen records in total, including the latest LP Time (2023).
