Wonderful performance. King Creosote was full of fun and had great banter with the audience. The songs were beautifully crafted with traditional folk instruments but with synths underpinning everything providing a lot of atmosphere. He has his own style, a lovely Scottish lilt to his voice with reflective lyrics. An evening to remember.

King Creosote, Metronome Nottingham, Nottingham - 22nd November 2024
It was great to see King Creosote in Nottingham, previously I’ve travelled up to Scotland to see him. The Metronome was a perfect venue - intimate but with good acoustics to enable Kenny and his band mates to showcase their talents. It’s always a pleasure to see someone take such delight in the music they make and the collaborative process of a live performance. Kenny Anderson never fails to deliver. Can’t wait until the next time.

The band were superb and Kenny’s audience interaction was entertaining throughout, but more importantly the songs from the new album sounded beautiful live and a few older numbers towards the end landed perfectly. Lovely venue too - good sound and good size.

Great performances they may have felt like 'the band playing on the Titanic' but a great night, The Fence Collective showing the range of talent they have. 'Star of hope' we're all looking for at the minute. Kenny (King?) happy to share the limelight. The film beautiful funny and moving. Soundtrack played superbly, his voice has tremendous range sometimes sounding like it was cracking then a soaring falsetto. The timing with the film spot on. Bridgewater Hall closed from today. A shame more people didn't see this. '
