Privacy Policy We will not pass on your details to third parties. We will only use your email address to send festival updates i.e., artists booked, who is on which day, morris teams, ticket information, P@ndemonium! and Refolkus activities, maps, camping details, arrival times, car parking, catering and bars etc. We like to keep you informed with festival news so please make sure you check this option when you buy tickets. Venues Our festival has a mixture of open-air outside stages and open sided marquees. You’ll need to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets. Please check out our Information and FAQs page for any other questions.
Opening Times - Gates open for Thursday camping from 15:00-18:00 - Gates open for Friday camping from 07:00 - Gates open for day ticket holders at 12:00 on Friday and at 09:00 on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Concert finish times 00:00 **except on Monday when it’s approximately 18:00**. Specific times will be released in August when our souvenir programme is available.
Tickets There are no physical tickets. Your automated E Ticket should be with you within 30 minutes of ordering. You’ll need to show your E Ticket, complete with bar code, on arrival. If your email doesn’t arrive within 30 minutes, please get in touch with Gigantic Tickets at customerservices@gigantic.com or give them a call on 0115 807 7900. Please check your junk folder first though! Weekend wristband colours will indicate if you are entitled to camp or not so please make sure you book the correct tickets. We have a 3 tier weekend ticket system which is the fairest system we can adopt. As always, the earlier you buy your tickets, the cheaper they are. Each tier has a limited number of tickets and when they’re gone, they’re gone so please book early! When tier 1 tickets have sold out the price will automatically change to tier 2 and so on.
Car Parking - For non campers Parking costs £5 per day or £15 for the weekend. These charges apply to vehicles parked in our car park (not camping pitches).

Concessionary tickets (adult weekend tickets only) Day tickets: concessions are not available on day tickets. Prices are tiered and like all other tickets, when they’re gone they’re gone. Please continue reading to find out if you qualify. Concession tickets are for people aged 65+ (men & women), full time students or people in receipt of the below benefits.
Proof of eligibility will be required at the festival or the full price will be charged.
Carer ticket: If you require a carer to attend the festival to assist you, then one carer ticket can be purchased in the same transaction. Carers tickets cost £100 and are not tiered. If they require camping it can be purchased at the standard rate.
To qualify you need to be in receipt of one of these Carer's Credits.

Thursday Camping To reduce the number of people arriving on site at the same time on Friday morning we are offering a limited number of Thursday camping tickets at £20 per adult. Arrival is only permitted between 15:00 and 18:00. You are not allowed to save space for friends arriving later in the weekend. If you wish to camp together, you will need to meet up offsite before arriving. This ticket is in addition to the normal weekend camping ticket. Please note entertainment does not start until Friday afternoon.
Weekend Camping There are camping and non-camping options for adult, concession, carer, family and youth weekend tickets. If you need to add camping tickets to an existing order you can only do so by emailing Gigantic Tickets at customerservices@gigantic.com with your order reference number. Camping is not available as a stand-alone ticket or with day tickets. Adult camping costs £30 per adult, available with weekend tickets only. Child and Youth Tickets and Camping for the under 18s All under 18 yrs tickets are priced according to age (0-4 yrs go free). Camping is free for everyone aged 0-10 yrs and does not need to be booked. Youth 11-17 yrs camping costs £11, available with weekend tickets only. Under no circumstances will youths be permitted entrance to Shrewsbury Folk Festival without adult accompaniment. Wristband colours will indicate if youths are entitled to camp or not so please make sure you book the correct tickets. N.B. if camping is required the adult must camp with, or next to, the youth’s camping pitch. If you think your age will be questioned, please bring personal identification. ALL UNDER 18s MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
