Stunning gig

Amazing band, excellent musicians and a great night. Can’t believe they come to Sittingbourne but very glad they did. Unforgettable.

Great show if a bit short!

Robert Jon and the Wreck never fail to impress and tonight were no exception. They played incredibly well and performed a good mix of old favourites and new material which was really well received by the capacity crowd on this their first gig of their uk tour. The Appleyard (aka Bournemusic Club) is an unusual venue. Situated miles from anywhere you’ve heard of it’s got a bit of a village hall feel to it but tonight, at full capacity, the atmosphere was great and it felt much bigger than what I’d estimate is a capacity of 360. Quite how the promoter (Mark I think) gets acts like this here I don’t know but long may as t continue. He does a great job!. Only small criticism was the length of the show. No support band tonight starting at 8:00, RJ&TW finished their encore at 21:30 so it felt a bit short. I loved it though and I’d see them here again anytime!

Best I’ve seen them yet…..

Robert Jon & The Wreck are really coming of age. With 9 studio albums under their belts in 13 years, they really are turning out to be one of the hardest working bands at the moment. The show was slick, professional with a great set of songs. Add to that the venue, a well hidden jem run by music fans for music fans, this was always going to be a winner

Albums such as Last Light on the Highway and Shine a Light on Me Brother showcase the band’s storytelling prowess and tight musicianship, with tracks like "Do You Remember" becoming fan favourites.
