Brollis and Checkin

Great lineup and good day despite the weather. Think there should be a no umbrellas rule for main outdoor stage. It spoilt viewing big time! Sandown park enforced this for the Tom Jones gig. Posh loo ticket wrist bands weren’t briefed to the guy we checked in our event tickets with. He said he had no wristbands and wasn’t sure what you did about that. We asked someone and found out you had to queue to get a wristband for them. Need signage and comms for the ticket Checkin. Better signage for lineup and timings on the social M pages would’ve helped.

Absolutely awesome

Gaz Coombes, Johnny Marr, Bad Manners, Noel Gallagher highflying birds, and the chicken chowmein were fantastic. £10 for a pint of pimms was out of order though.

Solid mini festivity

Festival pretty decent. Shuttle bus from train station really handy. There's a really good cricket club on entrance to festival too worth grabbing a drink there if just day ticket. 3 Rd party vendor not so happy though. Saw person return ice cream as it taste of petrol! And bar staff most looked really unhappy and kept messing up orders despite very small menu. Funfair had good rides but at 7 pound on a ride! Some of fair music interfered with main stage sound too. Rather they weren't so near. But if there's an act on you really wanna see there it's pretty good value. Saw Gaz Combes (supergrass) and was superb. If you camp, have own food, and drink (can't bring drinks into main arena) you could get quite a bit out of tickets. Heard your not allowed to leave and re enter though. So personally think if they just lots of local bars and restaurants to run stalls there it would benefit Festival and local area too and definitely better the atmosphere. Will go again if an act on I like.
