LEWIS CAPALDI, SWX, Bristol - 30th November 2017

I first started to listen to lewis back in october where i fell in love instantly with his voice, his music and his lyrics. When i found he was playing in bristol i had to go and see him live. He really was outstanding. His faultless voice grabbed the attention of everyone in the room and eyes remained on him. A lot of people can relate to the lyrics in his songs to past or present experiences and circumstances which inspires everyone who listens to him. I cant wait to see him again.

Songwriter Lewis Capaldi certainly made good on the plaudit’s description as one of the ones to watch last year.
Keen to continue making his mark, he has previously announced a show at Brighton Dome to be held on Thursday 19th of May plus two dates at Scarborough Open Air Theatre during the summer of 2019.

Later in the year he heads out on tour to play O2 Academy Birmingham, O2 Academy Bristol, O2 Guildhall Southampton, O2 Academy Brixton in London and U.E.A. at Norwich in November and Nottingham’s Rock City and O2 Academy Sheffield during December.

Plus, he makes festival appearances at Tramlines located at Hillsborough Park in Sheffield and runs form Friday 19th till Sunday 21st of July 2019.

Already looking towards a bright new year, you can catch him at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on Wednesday 11th of March 2020.

When Lewis Capaldi’s debut release ‘Bruises’ exploded online in mid-2017 it seemed from an outside perspective to have all the hallmarks of an overnight sensation. How could this 20-year-old with a soul-wrenching voice that sounded like it had been hewn from granite seemingly emerge from nowhere with a song of such emotional depth?

His debut EP ‘Bloom’ brought the year to a close, a stripped-back and almost painfully raw meditation on love and loss from a writer who seemed like he’d already lived several lives and had the scars to prove it. ‘Bruises’, a brooding exploration of love lost opens an EP which saw Capaldi collaborate with long time Frank Ocean and Lorde collaborator Malay.

2018 opened in the midst of Capaldi finding himself widely lauded from seemingly every critic, finding himself named in no-less than 30 ‘ones to watch’ polls from every corner of the globe. His rapidly developing fanbase ravenous, outstripping the supply for tickets for every show announced, resulting in 3 back-to-back sold out UK and European tours in as many months. It also saw the release of his phenomenal second album ‘Breach’, released to huge fanfare.

The excitement continues to build and we expect Lewis Capaldi concert tickets to sell very fast. Plus, with only limited amounts being put on sale by the event organisers, you will have to act quickly and place your booking before they all go.
