Born in 1983, Savoretti had been brought up in London before he moved as a young child to the beautiful city of Lugano which is nestled on the northern shore of the glacial lake, the Swiss city is located close to the Italian border leading to a wonderful blend of the two countries cultures. There he would study at The American School In Switzerland.
Far more of a poetic dreamer rather than an academic, Savoretti would prefer to escape into his own interior world; "I was writing all the time, it was the thing to do, sit under a tree with a notebook, go somewhere else in your head. I was in the clouds."
He began playing guitar at 16 and played duet with Shelly Poole on the tracks ‘Anyday Now’ and ‘Hope’ which appeared on her 2005 album ‘Hard Time For The Dreamer’.
His first solo release came in 2007. ‘Titled Between The Minds’, it featured the singles ‘Without’ plus ‘Dreamers’ and was declared Album Of The Week by Radio 2. Having built on this early press attention he has gone on to write further and now has released four studio albums including ‘Harder Than Easy’ (2009), ‘Before The Storm’ (2012), ‘Written In Scars’ (2015) and ‘Sleep No More’ (2016).
