The Gypsy Jazz Festival of London presents the finest Gypsy Jazz guitarist of his generation, Adrien Moignard.
“Moignard is simply extraordinary, and his dizzyingly fast solos are both flawless and inventive” - Jazzwise
Sideman to Cyrille Aimee and member of the prestigious Selmer 607 collective, his incredible dexterity and creative flair have landed him performances across the world with the likes of Didier Lockwood, Richard Galliano and Stochelo Rosenberg.
On the night, Adrien will be joined by leading French Rhythm Guitarist Julien Cattiaux and a band of the UK’s most sought after jazz musicians, to perform music inspired by Adriens wide-ranging influences from Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, to Django Reinhardt and George Benson.
Supporting are Manchester innovative jazz fusion outfit NONUNONU, who incorporate hip-hop and modern jazz into complex, tightly-arranged composition. |
