The sound system was great, not to big a venue, so always a great view of the stage, also in the heart of the city, enty bars and toilets.

We had a full day and night of awesome entertainment. The artists sounded every bit as fab as they did 30 something years ago. Absolutely brilliant. Our only complaint is not being allowed to bring any food into the venue. That’s just awful. Not everyone can afford the extortionate prices the food vendors sell... that was a terrible thing to do, they should allow revellers to bring their own picnic with them. It’s just sheer greed.

I loved the event great idea to get those great Bands from the 80s on stage but i thought maybe one too many as the event ran until 11pm and by this time was very cold. I understand the need to re set the stage but maybe have four bands instead Thanks

The only thing which let it down was the small number of toilets!

Not a huge fan of China crisis or Hue and Cry but they were decent enough, Go West, Midge Ure and ABC were excellent Entry to the gig was a joke, line we were in didn’t move for over half an hour, staff couldn’t (or wouldn’t) explain why and if you persistently complained they used their “power” to threaten you with no entry
