Great family evening

Really good set up at Rugfest. Chilled out atmosphere with loads of great food stalls and stuff for children to do. My ticket purchasing was a bit of a disaster though as i wasn’t alone in not seeing that you didn’t have to buy tickets for under 13’s. We bought from the website and a friend came up to the club to buy a childs ticket and wasn’t told it wasnt necessary to do so. Also, putting the video of scouting for girls directly under the friday night line up on the webpage was misleading.

Great finally

Great local festival with a great chilled out atmosphere. Just the order of the line up was slightly out on the Saturday with Micheal Baker bringing the mood down before the headline act.

2019 sees the return of Rugfest; bigger, better, and longer than ever before! Over the space of three
days, festival goers will experience the very best musical talent from across the country, tonnes of
activities for all the family and a superb range of beverages and cuisine to make it a memorable
weekend for all.
The festival takes place from Friday 21st June through to Sunday 23rd June 2019 and is held at the
Hithercroft Sports Park in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. Hosted by Wallingford Rugby Club and, new for
2019, now in partnership with Wallingford Beer and Blues Festival. Having been cancelled in 2017,
Friday night at Rugfest will bring this much-loved event back to the community, where Climax Blues
Band, Papa George Band and Hip Route will bring the very best of Blues to open what’s set to be a
barnstorming weekend.
