Always roll my eyes a bit when politics is imposed on what I’m actually there for - the music. The very muted response of the F**k Boris was, in retrospect, a consequence of many in the audience having gone out and voted for him. Anyway, aside of that minor irritation, the performance was very tight and the band clearly still has plenty of legs.

Ride, O2 Manchester Ritz, Manchester - 12th December 2019
I've loved this band since I bought the Vapour Trail ro when I was 16. I was lucky enough to see them at Derby Assembly Rooms (1992) when they released Going Blank Again, then again last year (2018) at Sheffield Plug. So, last night at Sheffield Foundry (2019) I saw them for a third time. As always, they were amazing. I will definitely go and see them again on future tours, and recommend them to anyone who likes a bit of shoe gazing. Have a listen to tracks like Drive Blind, Taste or Going Blank Again and you'll know what I'm talking about!

Would of liked to of heard the singer more clearly I felt the music drown him out a bit other than that they were great

Ride, TramShed, Cardiff - 1st September 2018
First time we have seen Ride. Had a great time, band were excellent and definitely will be seeing more of them in the future. Can't fault venue either. Cheap parking just round the corner, good vibe inside, just the right size for the right atmos!

Ride, SWX, Bristol - 9th November 2017
They played for nearly two hours with two encores, the new songs were well received and at times were brilliant, but no one can deny they have a fantastic back catalogue. The show was sold out the usual for a ride gig, the crowd were excited to say the least and they got a very good reception from the minute they came on. Lannoy point and charm assault are instant Ride classics I also love cali another new song they played. I cannot fault the set list they played plenty of new material from the weather diaries mixed with classics such as taste, Vapour trail my favourite Ride song, the brilliant drive blind, unfamiliar, seagull, finishing with Chelsea girl the perfect end to a brilliant evening.

Ride is a British alternative rock band formed in Oxford in 1988. They emerged as a prominent figure in the shoegaze scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s alongside bands like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive.
Their music is characterised by swirling layers of guitar effects, ethereal vocals, and dreamy melodies. Ride achieved critical acclaim with their debut album Nowhere in 1990, which showcased their signature sound. Over the years, they've experimented with different styles while maintaining their distinctive sonic palette. Despite disbanding in the mid-90s, Ride reunited in 2014 and have since released new music, captivating old and new fans alike.
