Richard was alone and played guitar or piano during his set. He was phenomenal. He performed unplugged too and was still sensational. It was his first time performing in Cardiff and I pray it won’t be his last; I’d certainly be first in line to go see him again

Best intimate gig I have ever seen and that man has skill, with amazing sense of humour. Unplugged set too… 10 out of 10.

St Davids Hall Cardiff for Singer/songwriter RICHARD MARX … I must admit this was not my usual gig (present for my partner ) … but it was him guitar and piano… i warmed to him quickly- such a talented guy .. he has written hit songs for many including Luther Vandross’s ‘dance with my father’ He also did Delilah in protest of the WRU’s decision to pull the song from choirs on match day.. Very funny stories, personable… this was his first gig in Wales but im sure it will not be his last….
