"Would've been better if I could have seen it"
Andrew O'Neill's History Of Heavy Metal - full band show!, The Cookie, Leicester - 23rd February 2018
This show would have been awesome if it had been a seated show not standing. I have seen the show before in Nottingham and it was seated as there is a slideshow that is part of it. Nothing wrong with Andrew o Neil. He is hilarious and the show is also but this venue having it as a standing show ruined it for me. I couldn't see as the venue is small and stage very low. I got a partial view of Andrew and a corner of the slideshow. Good show, great comedian, bad venue.

"Robin Ince at The Cookie"
Robin Ince: Pragmatic Insanity, The Cookie, Leicester - 24th February 2018
As always a thoroughly thought provoking show that provides much laughter and merriment. Good value at an intimate and enjoyable venue. Hopefully there will more shows in the future as Robin is a much loved not to be missed performer. The intimacy of the venue only adds to the enjoyment much better than at bigger theatres!

Lloyd Langford - Six Quid's Worth of Jokes, The Cookie, Leicester - 17th February 2018
Lloyd Langford is genuinely funny and comes across as a decent bloke too. No airs and graces or name droppings. I was first a bit apprehensive that I'd not understand his accent but my worries were unfounded.
The tickets said Doors 6.30 PM but the show actually started at 6.30 PM. So we got there just in time. I wish the organisers and/or the venue emailed us to inform that the show was starting at 6.30. That is my only gripe. I'll definitely see Lloyd perform again.
