Lincoln is a great city to visit so always pleasant to go there. All the venues were very central and very close to eachother. This meant I saw less of the city this time but plenty of bands. Really good line up but 5-7 was a time of many clashes. Travelodge was cheap too and very central.

A full program of music to listen to and the flexibility of wandering between venues made 2Q a great afternoon and evening out. The bands covered a wide musical spectrum so there was always plenty to listen to or discover. Some of the venues were full but this is limited by the venues available in Lincoln - I could have always arrived earlier. It was fun mixing bands between cafes, record shops, pubs, clubs and larger venues. The only venue I visited that didn't seem to work well for me was Moka with the band playing to the audience tucked under a low roof. I will definitely be looking out for next years announcements.

The second time I have been to this festival and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Great set up well organised and with some terrific bands. Only two small negatives: 1. The venue MOKA, where the bands were in a corner of a dirty, nasty nightclub 2. Not all venues sold draught beer, again MOKA was a culprit! All other venues were great and the event had a friendly inclusive feel to it.
